One of the steps in the production of CAL 96
The Church of the Santíssima Trindade of the Sanctuary of Fátima, elevated to Basilica in 2012, is an imposing work of architecture and engineering, visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year.
The intelligibility of the voices of those involved is essential in any Church, but in this specific case, the challenge was to ensure quality sound coverage for the 8,633 seats. This year, Garrett provided 2 columns Meyer Sound CAL 96 to give sound to the space, placing them on the side of the altar. At LIME Column Array Loudspeaker 96 incorporate 24 4” midrange and 72 20” tweeters, with dedicated amplification stages for each of the speakers. All this is only possible in a column with 3 meters high.
