What is UVC?

Ultraviolet C corresponds to the ultraviolet light that propagates between the wavelength 100 and 280nm, with the ability to effectively eliminate various pathogens. UVC is also emitted by the Sun, but absorbed at 100% by the atmosphere.

Is UVC Safe?

Like many other light sources (laser pointers, sunlight, etc.), UVC can cause damage to human tissues. That's why Luxibel systems are equipped with effective 100% security modes to avoid dangerous situations.

Is UVC Effective?

Tested and used since sec. XIX, UVC technology is effective in eliminating several pathogens, including the Sars-Cov-2 virus, a fact proven by tests carried out by the National Laboratory of Emerging Infectious Diseases at Boston University.

LUXIBEL Direct Disinfection

Equipment with exposed UVC Lamps act directly on spaces, eliminating pathogens present in the air and on surfaces.
During this disinfection process, no people or animals can be present on site. For the safety of users, LUXIBEL has modules to detect entry and exit in spaces that interrupt the operation of equipment.

LUXIBEL indirect disinfection

Also with UVC technology, LUXIBEL indirect disinfection equipment absorbs the air from the space to be disinfected, treats it inside the equipment and returns this already treated air to the space, without first passing through an appropriate particle filter.
The great advantage lies in the fact that these equipments can disinfect restaurants, shops or office rooms 24 hours a day, even with people using these spaces.

Indirect UVC + Air Filter

The B AIR and the Cannon are models that can work continuously and in any space. Through a patented flow system, the air is disinfected by UVC lamps and returned to the space already filtered.
