Only those who know Porto, birthplace of some of Portugal's most famous wines, will have the opportunity to taste the city's typical delicacy: Francesinha. Several layers of bread, in a cheese bath, filled with meat, egg, and a thick spicy sauce that has become the real secret of this dish's popularity, over several generations.<\/h5>\n
Of all the restaurants that serve Francesinha, Caf\u00e9 da Santiago found the perfect recipe for the distinctive sauce, thanks to Filipe Pereira's skillful hand. Founded by Filipe and his brother, Rui Pereira, the new restaurant has become a must-visit destination in the city on the Douro River. The venue's exterior retains the original building's facade, but when visitors enter this 2-story restaurant, they're off for an innovative and modern dining experience.<\/h5>\n

The Pereira brothers were determined to make Caf\u00e9 Santiago a unique space, for the francesinhas and their divine sauce, but also for the quality of the ambient sound. Therefore, the leadership of the audio project was left in the experienced hands of Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds Freitas, who, in partnership with Lu\u00eds Lopes from Power Focus and Garrett Audiovisuais, led to the conclusion of a project that guaranteed perfect audio reproduction and coverage. in all locations via Genelec 8351.<\/h5>\n
The Genelec 8351s were selected for this restaurant, after the Pereira brothers tried out the three-way monitors in the Genelec demonstration room, located at Garrett Audiovisuais' headquarters. The decision proved to be a success: along with the numerous Francesinhas served daily, the restaurant became known both for its remarkable atmosphere and for its incredible food.<\/h5>\n
