2026 - Café Restaurante Nicola (Lisbon) - Ambient Sound

Nicola is one of Lisbon's most emblematic café-restaurants, which for over a century has been a place for socializing, gatherings, and fine dining. It's a piece of the country's history, inextricably linked to the poet Barbosa du Bocage, and where Garrett Audiovisuais participated this year in the requalification of the sound system in the various areas of the space.

One of the premises for this project was the discreetness of the sound installation, thus respecting the antiquity of the place.
With a selection of Sonance Professional in-wall speakers, powered and controlled by equipment from the same brand, it was possible to provide sound to the space almost invisibly and with the required quality. Outdoor speakers (IP55) from the manufacturer RCF were also installed on the terrace.

Nicola now has a new, discreet sound, intelligible and free of noise, which will certainly bring more pleasure to the table of those who frequent this iconic Lisbon café.
