2017 - A Garrett Audiovisuais, in partnership with the company luminaire, participated in the extensive renovation project of the facilities L'Oreal Portugal, which highlights the innovative L'Oreal Academy. A unique project at a technical and strategic level for the brand in Portugal.
Garrett's Design Department prepared the design of the Audiovisual System to be implemented in the new spaces, always in close collaboration with the various stakeholders in the project, with the conclusion of all works in May of this year.
L'Oreal Academy
Several audiovisual and multimedia systems were installed on two of the floors of the L'Oreal building, in order to speed up the training and dissemination actions that the brand intends to develop.
For the common areas of the 0th and 1st floor, an Ambient Sound System controlled by touch panel was installed. CUE Systems, with columns Genelec and audio signal processing.
Also for the same spaces, where the reception of visitors, movement of people and points of interactivity are carried out, several multimedia solutions were developed, such as multiscreen videowalls and touchscreen interactive tables with integration and control by systems. CUE Systems.
“LP”, “Matrix”, “Redken” and “Kèrastase” Training Rooms
4 Training Rooms were designed on floors 0 and 1 of the L'Oreal building, where audiovisual and multimedia solutions provide a huge differentiating factor when comparing these rooms with traditional training rooms.
As far as technological solutions are concerned, each room is equipped with a Sound System with speakers and subs. Genelec; wireless microphone system Beyerdynamic and digital audio processing.
The exchanges of these systems are duly allocated in regies present in each of the rooms, regies those that also centralize, for example, the video signal to be projected on the screens Euroscreen and LCD's in the rooms, or the audio and video signal transmission system via wireless from any computer.
These regies also provide an intuitive image capture and editing system, and the possibility of livestreaming activities in the room to the channel Youtube L'Oréal Professionnel Portugal.
For situations where greater flexibility and sound creativity are needed, each floor is equipped with DJ booths.
All these audio and video systems are integrated and controlled by CUE Systems, with user interfaces in the form of a touch panel or mobile device (tablet).
It should be noted that the rooms on each floor can be merged (LP+Matrix or Redken+Kèrastase), thus making it possible to carry out training sessions with a greater number of trainees.
A fifth room/training space is dedicated to the SPA environment and here, in addition to an audiovisual system with video-projection and ambient sound, the integration and control system CUE Systems also operates lighting and blinds.
Auditorium
For the audiovisual system of the auditorium, a configuration of 3 screens was designed: a central one with an electric screen Euroscreen + Vivitek projector, and two 82” LCD side monitors. The sound was handled by speakers and subwoofers. RCF with external amplification and digital audio processing. Speakers' voices are carried by a wireless microphone system Beyerdynamic. All this audiovisual apparatus is controlled by a system CUE Systems, with a simplified wall-mounted push-button interface, or through a touchscreen interface on a mobile device, which also controls the lighting of the space.
Meeting rooms
Garrett Audiovisuais equipped the 6 meeting rooms on 3 different floors with 65” LCD monitors.
